i wrote my letter for my court appearance, which i wont be going to

to the registrar of the court,
i am sorry that i drove my car when it wasnt registered.
i have always paid my registration in advance until this time when it had elapsed by about a week.
i was worried about not having the money and not paying the registration, so i did not drive my car until the following pay week when i arranged for a babysitter to look after my baby and toddler. i then went to the bank to withdraw the money to pay my registration on the day our pay went in.
the policeman stopped me with my registration papers in my hand as he was watching another unregistered car parked near mine. he checked my registration and then proceded to tell me that i was irresponsible and that i need to get my priorities in life right.
this is the first time anything like this has ever happened to me. i am a responsible person, but have been struggling with post natal depression for some time now, and i was so focused on getting the overdue bill paid that i didnt even think about the consequences of driving the 3kms to pay my registration after my car had been off the road.
after the policeman let me go, i went to see my councellor, mary morriss at noarlunga health village. she wasnt there, but another lady was and she talked to me and calmed me down because i had been crying and was very upset.
she then drove me to the bank and to the registrar of motor vehicles to pay my registration. then she drove me back to my car and i went home.
i am very thankful to the people at the health village for helping me.
my partner and i are raising our young family on a low income and all our utility bills are organised to be paid in installments. not a week goes by when i dont have a bill to pay.
i ask that you please consider a lenient penalty, or perhaps even a warning, when judging my case. if the fine is beyond my means, could we please organise a payment plan.
i hope that this letter is sufficient. my councellor recommended writing a letter because she believed that attending the hearing may be too stressful for me and set back my recovery.
again, i am sorry that i did something wrong.

now, i like to think that has enough balance between little girl lost sorryness, doing it hard blue collar workerness, and good manners to get me on the right side of the judge.
my letter from mary will help too, i think.

dear sir/madam,
i am writing to you to ask for leniency when considering carly's offence of driving an unregistered vehicle on september 24th, 2002.
i have been seeing carly in a councelling capacity since the 6th of may 2002. carly was referred by her doctor for severe post natal depression for which he had prescribed anti-depressant medication.
carly has attended 13 sessions at noarlunga health village and has responded well by using motivation and hard work to assist in her recovery. carly has two young children and she and her partner and struggling to manage financially on a low income.
consequently when carly's car was due for registration this was not possible until the following pay period.
thinking clearly and problem solving are difficult for people with depression. carly was unable to think beyond the fact that she needed to register her car and driving to the motor vehicle department seemed to be her only option. consequently carly was on her way to pay the registration fee when she was apprehended.
i have concerns that this charge and associated penalty will cause a significant set back in carly's recovery. i ask that you consider my request for leniency.

wahoo mary, you rock :)

well, wish me luck, i'll let you know what happens

yay, i've got a webcounter and i put it on myself :)
oh....my....god
you really all should have been there, although i'm sure there would have been some sort of all in brawl if you were. part of me still cant believe that it actually happened, but the rest of me says, well, you really couldnt expect much more.
so, i went to sharyns yesterday afternoon. she was nervous. i kept reminding her that she didnt have to do it, that she could just get her negatives and go, and she said that she'd see how it all panned out.
when we pulled up into the driveway was when i started to get nervous. i really didnt know what to expect.
we knocked on the door, and her brother justin answered. justin used to be this huge scary thing with afro hair that grunted at us and wore the same clothes all the time. now he was really nice, sweet even, and invited us in and asked us how we were going. he said that karlie was upstairs, so we headed up. we could hear her vaccuuming, and as we walked up the stairs, sharyn was calling out, 'hello.....knock knock!!!...'. we got to the top of the stairs, and walked into her room. she didnt stop vaccuuming. sharyn said, 'hi, i'm here to get my negatives'. karlie turned the vaccuum off, handed her the negatives without looking at her, and said, 'here, take them' then started vaccuuming again. sharyn and i stared at each other. i said, 'well, what do you want to do?' she said she wasnt going to leave until she checked that they were all there, and one was missing.
from now on, sharyn will be written in italics

'they arent all here, theres one missing'
'thats all i have'
(still vaccuuming)
'well, they arent all here, and i need them'
'i dont have anymore'
(still vaccuuming)
'im not just doing this to bug you, i need them'
(vaccuuming)
'what is your problem!?'
'i told you, i dont have anymore of your negatives!'
'not with the negatives, with me! what have i done to make you hate me so much? have i offended you in some way?'
(rolling eyes and vaccuuming)'just dont worry about it'
'no, but i do worry about it, i want to know what i've done to make you act this way, we used to be really close and now you cant even be bothered'
'just get lost'
'get lost? thats real mature. come on, lets go'
meanwhile i am just standing there speachless. i cannot believe how rude she is. she doesnt even give us the courtesy of turning off the vaccuum and that makes us have to yell even more. it could have possibly been a civilised conversation but we were forced into yelling cos of her
'you're just such a bitch' sharyn starts walking down the stairs, i am still staring at karlie in disbelief
(still vaccuuming but looking at me with a stupid little smirk) 'tell me something i dont know'
i give her a 'i have no words to describe what just happened/you need to be in a psych ward' kind of look and turn to go down the stairs.
as we are going down the stairs
have a good life...or a bad one that line actually made me laugh

so we get downstairs and justin comes up to us all concerned and asks us what happened, and if we talked to her. i said we tried but she wouldnt turn the vaccuum off. he said that was why he came out, cos he wasnt sure what happened. i have a feeling he knows something cos when sharyn said to him that she just doesnt know what her problem is, he said, that she's under a lot of stress at the moment, but that he didnt think she had a problem with her, exactly. i understand that she's under stress. her mum has diabetes really bad and is living in hospital now, but before that, karlie was her full time carer. but i said, and justin agreed, that what i thought she would need right now is friends, since she only has her boyfriend. he said to kep trying, but sharyn said it wasnt worth it to her anymore. we dont deserve to be treated like that. he looked pretty disappointed but seemed to understand. he walked us to the door, and put his arm around sharyn and said to keep trying.
sharyn was shaking, i was just speachless.
we got in the car and just sat there. then a whole lot of 'what a bitch!'es came out and we drove back to sharyns. this all took about 5 minutes, you see. so we went inside and told rory and he couldnt believe it either. i said i was so close to punching her when she smirked at me, and he said he reckons he would have if he was there. he was a bit worried cos he thought she'd pull a knife on us or something.
part of me wants to go back there and try and sort things out. but i dont know if i can be bothered. i dont want to risk her yelling at me and making everything worse. i feel sorry for her cos of her mum and cos she has no friends, but she's not doing a good job of trying to make any. i guess she doesnt want them. i dunno.
but there you go, thats what happened. i havent spoken to sharyn yet, but we're supposed to be going shopping together on monday so im sure that will be the hot topic for the day.

it's been raining all morning and i am so hot. i have all the fans on, the windows open and im naked and i'm still hot.
last night i all of a sudden got all exercisey and went down to the gym and did aqua aerobics. it's really cool, i'm gonna go back. it was hard work. hard continous work for 45 minutes. but i enjoyed it. i think i may be a bit allergic to the chlorine they use there, cos my legs were itchy and spotty, but i'll go back again and see how it goes. maybe my body just needs to get used to moving around so vigorously in those conditions.
in about 5 hours i will be at karlies house anticipating a very awkward time. i told sharyn that i wont be joining in as much as she probably hopes, but i will stand by her on things that i believe as well. i really dont know exactly what she thinks will come of this. she's looking for closure, but i dont think she'll get what she wants. mum was saying that there was this girl who loved on her street when she was little and they went to school together from the start, and were friends until after i was born. her name was glenda, she was friends with my mum and all her sisters, and one day she stopped hanging out with them. apparently it had something to do with something that my aunty meredith supposedly said, but noone knows what it is. meredith has even called her up since and asked her and she still doesnt get a straight answer. i have a feeling that thats whats gonna happen here.
i'll let you know how we go
yay and thanks to everyone who has taken my quiz so far. its noce to know that i have more than a couple of people interested :)
spurndiddle? now that got me curious, but spurndiddle happens to know quite a lot about me, it seems, and is currently residing in first place with sean.
i did audreys quiz and actually scored better than i thought i would.
i'm not hanging around today. my computer is acting all weird and parts of my screen are missing. i'll be back later on though.

there was a girl that sharyn and i met in year nine called karlie. i dont know why we started hanging out with her. after a few years i wondered if it was because her name was karlie, so, it'd be weird cos there'd be two carlys/karlies.
anyway, she wasnt really well liked in her class. she was very moody and she liked horses. liking horses isnt a basis for not liking somone but she had rather coarse hair, so people used to pay her out and say she had horse hair. we were still friends with her though. we all got along really well. there were times when sharyn and i hated her. like when she used to flirt with all the boys from down at the skate ramp, and they'd all pay attention to her, not us. once i got so mad at her, i was *that* close to throwing a D sized battery at her. and i would have aimed for her head too. she went through a phase of writing in our diaries, like scribbling things out and calling us names. i used to think if she hated us so much, why did she still hang out with us, but she did anyway. of course we had heaps of fun times too. we were the 'weird' ones at our school. we naturally acted weirder when people were watching cos we liked the reaction we got, but also because it didnt seem weird to us, just normal and fun. like if it was raining, we'd walk under the edge of the balcony so the drips would hit us. we liked walking in the rain and would do it as often as we could. but people thought that was strange. oh well.
we stayed good friends until we were in year 12. then sharyn left after one term and i met mark and started going out with him. before that we'd hang out in the artroom at lunch and recess, but marks friends sat under the link stairs, so thats where i sat. i think that was the beginning of our diminishing friendship. sharyn kept seeing her out of school, but less and less as time went on.
since then we've caught up a few times but its always been weird. she's either over friendly or bitchy for no reason, and we never really worked out exactly what her problem was.
tomorrow we will have our chance.
after years of karlie having a whole stack of sharyn's negatives, we are going around there to get them. she has been given over a weeks notice of this, and really, she should have given them back years ago because sharyn has asked for them quite a few times. so tomorrow afternoon, we're going to her house, getting sharyns negatives and then starting calmly, are gonna ask her exactly what her problem is.

wish us luck

mum saw louise and the kids were brought back safely. i must say that i am very, VERY surprised.
mums fine. im not sure if i told anyone but she had to go into hospital the other day for a clean out. the doctors said that, even though she's been through menopause her body was still producing a little bit of hormone each month, which meant that her body thought it was gonna have a period so readied itself for it then stopped cos there wasnt enough hormone. this continued for about 6 months till she had a yuck period, (which im sure you all wanted to know about). so she had to get a clean out and a look at, and now she's a bit sore but she's fine and it should be ok from now on.
i went over to her house this morning and watched the christmas pageant with her. she likes the pageant so that made her happier.

there are friends of the family that we have called barry and louise. they have three kids, jena, darcy and lachlan. we've known them since brett started school with jena and then aaron went to school with darcy. barry and louise FINALLY broke up after so many years of him being a complete and utter bastard to her. he apparently told her to leave not long after midnight one night and had a locksmith in by 2am to change the locks. anyway, jena and louise are looking for a house since barry kicked them out, and barry took the boys on a camping trip. the first thing both mum and i thought of was that we were never going to see the boys again. yep, abduction. thats so the thing barry would do too, wanker. he has a lot to lose, with his business and all, but i can still see him taking the kids just to get back at louise.
apparently he used to call mum in the early hours of the morning, drunk, and say that louise was asleep so she could come over for a fuck. yes, very romantic.
i'll let you know if the boys come back

help! i've run out of things to talk about and sites to look at. all you people had better blog something or make something exciting happen to me or around me....please????
i thought while i was at it i might as well post the lyrics to my favorite mgf song

unsent letter

I try to talk to you
Can't get past the weather
The friend I thought I knew
Has found somethin', somewhere better
So I'm hanging on your line
Thought we could speak together
Tell me what it is with you, you seem gone forever

I'm spendin' all my time driven round thinkin' clever
With a girl who seems all right and another one who's better
I don't know if I lied when I said we're not together
But I try to talk to you, some how you seem gone

I know what could've been. Try not to think about it
Found it hard to live wi' this, and long to live without it
But my dreams have caught me out, I found my self surrounded
By the odds of our own end enough said about it

I'm spendin' all my time driven round thinkin' clever
With a girl who seems all right and another one who's better
I don't know if I lied when I said we're not together
But I try to talk to you, some how you seem gone

I've given up some thing, I guess that doesn't matter
I've started other things, I guess that doesn't matter
But I finally wrote your song, another unsent letter
In a pile addressed to you, c-/ of somethin', somewhere better

I'm spendin·all my time driven round thinkin·clever
With a girl who seems all right and another one who's better
I don't know if I lied when I said we're not together
But I try to talk to you, some how you seem gone

I'm spendin·all my time driving round fakin' clever
With a girl who seems all right and another one who's better
I don't know if I lied when I said that I'm together
But I try to talk to you, some how you seem gone forever
Yeah, but I try to talk to you, some how you seem gone forever
Yeah, but I try to talk to you, some how you seem gone forever
Yeah, but I try to talk to you, some how you seem gone

i'd like to take this opportunity to share some lyrics from the fine australian band machine gun fellatio. this is from their new album, paging mr strike, which i won from the ansell condoms website. yes, i am a lucky girl.
this song is called pussy town

i like lips and eyes and mouth and smooth soft skin
i got long fingers gonna draw you in
so put on my moan and take off your clothes
slide down slow beneath your belly i go

i'm going down down down down down down down
to pussytown

you got satin silk sheen: you're a fine white glove
you're four times double cream
you're a fine black dove
i got long fingers gonna draw you in
i got lips and eyes and mouth and smooth soft skin

i'm going down down down down down down down
to pussytown
to pussytown
to pussytown

i like lips and eyes and mouth and smooth soft skin
i got long fingers gonna draw you in
so put on my moan and take off your clothes
slide down slow beneath your belly i go

i'm going down down down down down down down
down down down down down down
down down down down down down down
to pussytown

pussy town is sung by mr pinky beecroft

the next song i'd like to share with you is sung by the lovely kk juggy.
it's called (let me be your) dirty fucking whore

my darling the stars they shine for you
my darling the birds twitter for you
my darling my heart skips a beat
whenever i think of you
and under a moonlit sky
i pray and dream that i
will be the one will be the one that you

bend over and bang good and hard from behind
have me on all fours howling at the sky
i'll give your cock a good long suck
then you'll give me a good hard fuck
squeeze my tits all big and bouncy
then spunk all over my botty
i want to be your butt-hot greasy slut

greasy slut
begging for more for i can't get enough
can't get enough

when i leave your tool used-up, worn and soggy
i wont stop then, oh no no
i'll become your little leg-humping doggy
let me be your dirty fucking whore

i think there's something in that for all of us, don't you?

my favourite song on the album so far is called my ex-girlfriend's boyfriend

my ex-girlfriend'd boyfriend's got a band
he writes love songs about her
and from what i understand
he's the expert now at taking off her clothes
he's got two songs on the radio
i wish i'd written those
my ex-girlfriend's boyfriend's got a band

my ex-girlfriends boyfriend's got a band
he writes love songs about her
even i can understand
and he's got a certain something i suppose
his new song's on the radio
and this is how it goes
(this is him singing)

i dont want to live in this world anymore
i dont want to live in this world anymore
(he doesnt want to live in this world anymore)
where will i find true love?
(where will he find true love?)

my ex-girlfriend's naked on the sand
a summer's day two years ago
when i was still her man
i was the expert then at taking off her clothes
and thats all ancient history
and theats the way it goes
but i've been working on my keyboards
(yeah right)
practising guitar
and taking lots of bass lessons
to expand my repertoire
and my new girlfriend my new girlfriend
my new girlfriend my new girlfriend
my new girlfriend my new girlfriend
my new girlfriend my new girlfriend
my new girlfriend's boyfriend's got a band
im hurting today. i think after walking all weekend, then swimming for and hour and a half yesterday, my body has given up and reached its limitations. i think i can hear it saying, 'what the hell are you doing to me? you think you can all of a sudden start exercising after 24 years of sitting on your bum making it fatter and fatter...' this is where i cut it off and say the reason i am exercising is BECAUSE ive been sitting on my bum getting fatter and fatter for 24 years. volunteering to be the marker for the goals with sharyn while the rest of your class plays soccor is not a sport.
i couldnt fit into my swimming shorts yesterday. i only wore them earlier this year and they fitted fine. i also watched a video of me from about 1995. i look so much happier and healthier. i need to stop eating crap.
so, what im going to do today is just take it easy on the exercise side of things. i've done it for 5 days straight, so i think my body deserves a little recouperation time. and then i'll get back into it tomorrow.
the whitlams were on roy and hg last night. seeing them made me want to get my arse into gear, literally. it's only 24 days to go!!!
