my weekend, oh, it will be busy

on friday, after work, i somehow need to get from work to town for the opening of the fringe and for sonic youth (thanks ben!). saturday, i'll be back in town for laneway, and then still in town for gosh. im thinking i might invite wally to gosh... brb, i just need to go do something. hmm. apparently you cant myspace someone when their status is set to 'away'. thats a shame

so, my thinking is aviator lane, no through road, darren hanlon, the panics, clap your hands say yeah, feist, gotye, presets, and inbetween i'll wander back and forth checking out the bands i dont know. sounds like a plan to me.

after the presets it also might be a grand idea to go back to my car and sleep for a little while, then drink a coffee and a redbull and head off to gosh

home and away

i dont think ive watched home and away for around 5 years, i dont know whats going on. i do know that i saw on the front cover of tv week that milko was back! milko! i remember that. it was on at mums the other day. seems that after you leave all saints you're required to go on bad long running after dinner australian drama/soapies. theres an ambo and a receptionguy on there at the moment, and i remember both of them being better actors on all saints. ANYWAY that wasnt what i was writing about. did anyone watch it tonight? sally got stabbed, yeah, we all know about that, but she went to "heaven" (possibly, i flicked over half way through something) which was the caravan park house and it was empty except for a few token bits of furniture, and tom! tom was there! being all 'you have to make a choice' and 'heres what will happen if you die, and what will happen if you live', and basically, sally is like mother theresa or something that is all good and sweet and well with the world, because if she dies, the caravan park is going to turn into a wasteland and people will be walking around in the dust and wind with no shoes on getting really dirty, and there'll be teenage whores playing pool at the surf club and colleen will agree that she's a silly old lady and will go live in a nursing home near lancey and alf will say 'flamin'. well, ok, that last part isnt all that different. if sally lives, she;ll get to sit in a hospital bed and smile knowingly at people and try to convince them that god is real. freak
